Iberische Halbinsel (Osten und Süden), Balearen, Korsika (Norden und Süden), Sardinien, Sizilien, ehemaliges Jugoslawien, Griechenland (südliche Mitte, Peloponnes, Ionische Inseln, Kykladen, Kreta und östliche Ägäis), Zypern, Türkei, Israel, Tunesien, Algerien und Marokko

Die Nebenkronen der kretischen Pflanzen sind meist viel stärker zerteilt als die der spanischen Exemplare. Außerdem steigen sie bis in höhere Lagen hinauf. Deshalb werden die Pflanzen der beiden Gebiete gesondert aufgeführt.
